For containerised shipments, Verified Gross Mass (VGM) is a mandatory requirement under the SOLAS convention to ensure vessel stability. Failure to provide accurate weight data can lead to significant demurrage charges if the cargo is held at the terminal for re-weighing.

Mode Selection and Equipment
